MARCHING BAND BANQUET/POTLUCK

Another amazing marching season is in the books!  Time to celebrate!  The Marching Band Banquet/Potluck will be held on December 9th following the Cary Parade.  I will post times for event set-up and food drop-off after we find out where the band will be positioned in the parade line-up. The following are the potluck dinner assignments.  Please read as I have tweaked this from past events to reduce food waste.

Potluck Dinner Assignments:

We are asking each family to bring a main dish and an additional item as listed by band section below:

  • Saxophones - Salad
  • Clarinets - Side Dish
  • Drum Majors/Flutes - Rolls/Chips
  • Trumpets/Percussion - Desserts
  • Low Brass/Color Guard - 2-liter drink

The social committee will provide tableware, condiments and salad dressings, coolers and ice. Please provide a serving spoon/fork and pre-cut anything that requires slicing or cutting prior to serving.

After dinner, there will be a short awards ceremony in the auditorium.  We look forward to seeing you and celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of the marching band students!  Any questions, contact Monica Niemi at niemimo@gmail.com.
