Panther Creek High School offers two indoor ensembles in the winter season. These ensembles are open to all students at Panther Creek High School. For those who do participate in marching band in the fall, these indoor ensembles offer additional opportunities to build skills and extend the performance season.
Indoor percussion starts up in the late fall when marching band season comes to an end. Indoor percussion features the front ensemble, or pit, and the marching drumline portions of the marching band. There are no wind instruments included. This ensemble performs inside during the winter season. Students in all grades can try out for indoor percussion, and it's especially good for those who want to improve their skills for the next year's marching band season.

Indoor Color Guard also starts up when the marching band season ends. This indoor guard performs a show that incorporates dance, flags, rifles, sabers and other equipment and is choreographed to recorded music rather than a live band. Students in all grades can try out for the indoor color guard. It's a great opportunity for color guard members to build their skills in the winter.
