At the Marching Band Kick-Off Meeting held on May 16, 2013 the booster association elected a new slate of executive officers for the 2013-14 year.
Chris Sefton won 2nd place in the state of NC for his Reflections entry. It was an original music composition titled, "The Building of a Moment".
All Panther Creek Band Parents need to be registered as a volunteer through WCPSS and specify Panther Creek High School as a volunteer school.

The Panther Creek band was the highest scoring band of the entire event, outscoring 35 other schools from throughout NC, VA, TN, and SC.
Students will receive a sax ticket raffle packet in class on Tuesday. Students are asked to sell at least two tickets each. Each ticket is $25 and, if drawn on January 25, could win the $6,000 Kenny G Sax!

The band's copy machine is in need of repair/maintenance, but since it is not under a service contract with a repair company it hasn't been possible to get the necessary repairs. If you have any connections to assist with getting a copy machine repaired without a service contract, or a replacement (used or new) copier, please contact Don Minnick.
