We would like to congratulate the following students who tried out and made the All District Band and the All Regional Jazz Band. This is quite an achievement and we are very proud of all the band students who auditioned and those who were finalists. Great job!
The vote by the boosters was in favor of an additional $100 assessment per marching band student to cover the band program's financial needs for the remainder of this school year.

Georgina's Italian Restaurant has offered to host a restaurant fundraiser for our band. They will offer us 10% of the profits from anyone who either dines in or orders takeout from the restaurant on Sunday May 5, Monday May 6 and Tuesday May 7. You MUST mention that you are with Panther Creek Band when you order your food.

There will be a wind player marching band clinic on May 7. All current wind players and rising 9th grade wind players who are interested in participating in marching band must attend at least one of these sessions and attending all is encouraged.
We need your help. An important part of this event is a silent auction which will include themed baskets. We are asking parents to go to the following link and sign up to contribute items to the baskets.

The car wash last weekend was a great success. We raised $1282. Excellent job! Thank you to all of the chaperones and students for their hard work. Special thanks to Pam Hunter for organizing this for us.
Check out the new calendars on band website. An "Agenda" style calendar is on the bottom right of the home page. A "Monthly" view is available by clicking "Events->Band Calendar" on the top navigation toolbar.
At this meeting we will nominate and vote on the new booster executive board, vote on the 2013-14 budget prepared by the booster executive board and vote on amendments to the Panther Creek Band Booster By-Laws. This meeting will also officially kick off the Marching band season. Students and Parents should attend this meeting.

In preparation for the annual senior slide shown at the band banquet we are asking each senior parent or student to contact Ann Ciulla with information about your senior student's plans for next year. If we do not receive anything from you , we will just include a picture of your student in the slide show with no other information so please get this to us ASAP! Thanks.
